Dimitar is one of the co-founder of the Deriveum project. He has Master’s degrees in Public Administration, Law and Economics. He has studied in the University of Twente, University of Ghent and the University of Haifa. In the last 10 years of his work experience, Dimitar has worked on a number of complex cross-border restructuring including Enturtrans and Terra Group. He has consulted companies throughout the EU and worked with South African and Israeli clients.
Dimitar shares his experience “For me the project is about restoring competition. Since the brutal decline in the CDS market small and medium companies have been greatly disadvantaged and their borrowing costs are increasing because debt investors are mandated to share the default risk. Deriveum ensures a level playing field between large and medium borrowers.
The change Deriveum brings to the CDS market is carefully crafted to be in full regulatory compliance, adhering to collateralization rules, the Base standards and the anti-money laundering legislation. We have created an instrument that can be used globally and can reduce borrowing costs across the developed and the developing world.”
